When adopting a rabbit I always inquire about the health of their feet and ears especially. If they’ve been to the vet include that info. Include the color, it looks like you have a black otter color and a sandy/fawn colored rabbit. People will want to know about their personality, is one very friendly and loves cuddles, or is one very energetic? These are things I inquire about.

As somebody who was worried about adopting the first rabbit it was nice to know ahead of time that the rabbit does typically not get along with other rabbits but it would’ve been nice to know the history because I wonder if it was just bonding gone wrong

Whether they’ve had their jabs, what health conditions if any, anything related to dietary needs, if they’ve been spaded/neutered or not, good around other rabbits or dogs, indoor or outdoor rabbit (I live in England and that’s always a top ask), sex, what pellets they’ve been fed on and minor things such as breed, age, coat colour, favourite snacks and disliked snacks

When I was considering taking in another bunny, the questions that were of importance to me were the age, sex, neutered/spayed, personality, vet history(if any), and what the conditions the bunny was currently living in. Unfortunately, I was unable to take in the bun for personal reasons, but if it was up to me alone I would’ve taken her off the bat no questions asked!

I want to know the breed health.. fixed or neutered.. if they are curious ( meaning they chew on everything) energetic ( you can’t catch them) sassy ( mean huge attitude) lazy.. calm. Cuddly or not I’m sure I ask 9000 questions but a few different words I wish I knew before getting rabbits

Age, if he is vaccinated, flea issues or not, clues about his behaviour☺️Also, I always look at their environment, that includes carpets, if I can see a kid toy or a sign of a dog on the picture (there are some exceptions but those bunnies are normally stressed out).
Also, their eyes. Just like humans you can tell if they are outgoing or timid. I would only adopt a bunny if there is mutual sympathy between me and him, so if we look at each other and I can see in his eyes “yeah I don’t think so” then I won’t adopt him no matter how cute he is, I don’t want some silent hater😂😂
Bunnies can chose their humans, plus I want a mate not some sort of tiny creature who’s hiding from me 90 % of time and see me as a Gollum or something😂😂

tbh when I got phoenix the only thing I said was “I want a rabbit” and the first time I saw her was at my house after she was brought to me I didn’t even know what she looked like until then
Some people deliberately look for animals that are less likely to be adopted. Like me, I wanted a black cat

Really the only thing I’d wanna see is cuddly, my bun ivy lets me kiss her and pat her but not all too often, she’s pretty independent, I love her to the ends of the earth and back 🥹 but I wish she’d let me cuddle her more lol

If they are litter trained, make sure they have their shots/ vaccine, neutered / spayed, make sure they have clean ears and trimmed nails, if they are provided with the right food ( a lot of hay, some greens 🥬 and a little bit of pellets) – basically just making sure their health is good. A healthy bun is a happy bun 😁 – for the most part haha
