I’m worried about jinxing it, like how getting your other halfs name or face tattooed is supposed to jinx a relationship. I also don’t know how I can prove it other than a confirmation from my vet. I don’t have any other proof.
Should I try and get the Guinness World Record for the oldest living Rabbit for Bronte? She is 16yrs and 8 months old.

She is already the best of the girls for you. Doesn’t need any other title. Give her a kiss, she is a cutie. Mine are quite more rebel, they don’t like to be hold, I’m so jealous of you.
Honestly, I thought my senior girl (11 y/o Holland lop, former momma from a breeder) was old until I saw a post about Bronte! She’s a full 6 years older than the top of the usual life expectancy range (given I was told 7-10 yrs several years ago, it might have changed by now). If your vet has the proper paperwork I say go for it! Immortalize her achievement <3
you should try! aren’t there tests or anything like that to tell a rabbit real age?
And you can see she’s loved and happy which makes it even more awesome. I say go for the record!
My friend has a rabbit growing up and he lived until 15 and I was so jealous! Miss that dude. Bronte ftw!

Do you have a birth certificate or confirmation from the vet on paper? For example when I picked up my rabbit from the shelter they had marked her birthday down on paper and I’m not exactly sure how they found it but we had to find it for pet insurance purposes

I think I’d just enjoy her. Bronte won’t give a cocoa puff about the record. She just wants more noms, cuddles and naps.
I’d get her the title— she deserves it. She won’t care, but you should as it speaks volumes about your love and care :). She’s the most beautiful grandbun in the universe!
