If you see skin, then they might have mites. And you will need to take them to the vet. And get your entire home clean. Like a deep clean. Because they are more sensitive to mites. And if you have other animals and for you, you might get sick.

If she’s pulling her hair out it might be instinct to make a nest for babies. One of my female rabbits used to periodically do this even though she wasn’t pregnant

My bun had serious, what I thought was balding, going on an little bit ago and I got very concerned. But there was a very short coat of fur being left after the rest would be pulled or fell out and found out she was just molting! which is completely fine and normal, it’ll just explain the mass amount of shedding you may have noticed if this is the case.
