A few weeks back I adopted a sweet boy (called prince) from a shelter and was told that he had originally lived with a female bunny of the same age. (Can’t guarantee that they were definitely bonded and they might be siblings?) she wasn’t up for adoption because neither of the buns were neutered and the policy was to keep the female rabbits back from adoption until pregnancy was ruled out.
I got the notification yesterday that she was now adoptable and she arrived home today 🙂 I can’t wait to reintroduce them in 8ish weeks, once the neuters are both past their waiting periods! At least she is safe and in her forever home now, hopefully soon to be back with her old friend! 🤞
