Hello! After a month of research and preparing I picked up this handsome 3mo old void holland lop on Saturday. He came with the name phantom, but we have been calling him Captain.

His left eye is a bit concerning as it is pink, inflamed, and has some shmootz a couple times a day. It doesn’t look as bad in this picture though. I have others where you can really see the issue, but it would only let me add one photo.
The lady said it’s from a sibling scratching it accidentally in the nesting box and to use warm compress/chamomile. I’m setting an appointment with a rabbit savy vet asap in general, but also to be sure because I feel like at 3mo old that should have cleared by now?
He is very sweet and loves resting on my arm in my lap. I let him come to me of course.
His first day with us he was already showing signs of being very comfortable, sprawling out and rubbing his chin on things to claim them. This morning he showed me all his cool tricks and started binkying around.
