Marked NSFW in case you don’t want to see stained carpet. There’s no poop or anything gross (imo ofc), just brown stains.
Within the past several months, my husband and I have seen more of these brown freckle-y stains scattered and concentrated on our carpet where my bun spends most of her time. I at first thought these were stains from veggies or fruit, but these spots are also where she doesn’t eat or get fruit. She’s litter trained and RARELY pees on the carpet and when she does the stain is a larger spot. I see her eat her cecotropes but I’ve never seen a cecotrope so I don’t think these are stains from that.
She’s been acting normal. She’s 5 if that makes a difference. She gets a cup of veggies twice a day and ~1/4 cup of pellets (she’s a 4 lb mini rex). Her diet nor her environment have changed.
I’m just unsure if I should be worried?
