(UK based) For context I live in a rented property, six terraced houses with a car park at the back of the attached gardens.
I have two outdoor bunnies (one indoor bunny), all fully vaccinated. Over the last few days I’ve spotted some wild bunnies in the car park but I didn’t think anything of it. Now earlier today I spotted a wild bunny between my fence and the playpen fence I have set up for my two outdoor bunnies, the wild rabbit was literally just staring at my boy and doing nothing.
I knew this wild one had been there for a while as I had spotted him a few minutes prior to me taking the videos and going out to see him. My two outdoor rabbits didn’t seem fussed, I doubt they didn’t notice him but they were very much in-defferent to him which is a surprise as one of mine is extremely territorial (shock horror it’s my female lionlop).
Now I had gone outside to see the wild bunny but it had quickly dashed under my decking, it’s only a baby so it was able to fit through a gap in the fence which I had previously tried to patch, I checked an hour after the videos were taken to see where it was but it had cleared out from under my decking but I’m worried now about wild rabbits coming into my garden, enough though mine are fully vaxxed but in my area of the uk, myxomatosis is rife. Am I right to be worried? And what would you suggest to prevent my little visitor?
