1st picture is a normal treat that i make all the time. afterwards, i upped the difficulty level by wrapping a paper bag around it. 2nd picture is her nest (that’s what i call this cage that i leave open 24/7 in order to facilitate emergency transportation) freshly restocked with the more difficult treat all nice and ready hanging from the top. she went straight for the bowl with pellets in it like she always does every day, so i went away for a couple hours. picture 3 is what i found when i came back. she’s perfectly capable of getting in there; she’s gone through toilet paper tubes hanging in her nest before. i’m a sucker, though, so picture 4 is what i did to help her. picture 5 is her attacking her newly exposed hanging treat! she’s not spoiled, is she? lol
