This is the current situation. The struggle I’m having is that my buns occasionally spook while in the litter box, scrambling to get out of it and hide under the bed. In the process, they often bang their little paws on the side of the box and then they have a hurt paw for a couple of days. Have any of you experienced this? Does a low entry make any difference? I’m worried it won’t because if they’re both in the box and this happens, they might try to get out through the low entry at the same time and still get hurt. Am I overthinking this or is there a simple solution? I have more spookable buns than I’ve had in the past and I hate for them to hurt their paws that way.
