Today I made a digging box to my rabbit.
(As you can see, he likes it, and it will be “fun” for me to clean)
I chose sand because it’s easier to clean and it doesn’t get my rabbit dirty as the opposite of dirt, but now I’m worried about the sand ingestion.
I put some pellets, cardboard and hay in it and he was munching on it, but is it safe for him to much on? Will cause some problem long term? like some sand accumulation on intestines or smtg?
Would dirt lead to a similar problem?
Any ideas? Opinions? Advices? Solutions?
