Im a new bun mom & im still not sure what breed they are, the store owner was pretty vague and said the black one (Bean) is mini and the other (Flash) is regular bunny, Flash is now almost twice the size of Bean. ~ Wanted to name the other bun Pinto but my partner wanted to name him since i named Bean 🥲
Also wanted some more tips on how to properly care for them to make sure they’re growing up healthy & loved. I’ve had them for about 2 months now & they’re both almost 5 months. Flash is for sure a boy & we’re still trying to figure out if Bean is a girl or not. Planning on spaying & neutering soon ~ just trying to save up as they’re pricy.
They have access to unlimited hay & pellets & in starting to introduce small amounts of veggies – green leaf lettuce & cilantro for now. They have snuffle mats and i’ve made digging boxes. They also have 2 large litter boxes in their pen.
They both free roam our bedroom when we’re away for work & has access to the rest of the home when we’re there. They choose to stay in the room majority of the time. Both are now okay with our dog and cat since they don’t get so jumpy & excited to play with the buns anymore.
Would love some more advice on what else i should be doing for them 🙂
