I‘m sorry if it seems weird. To be short, rescued a bunny from a terrible environment. He’s 3yo, never left a small space he was confined to. Rn he’s really attached to me, I’m his whole world. He is stressed if I leave the couch he’s sitting on. He fears exploring my home. Been here for 2 weeks. We sleep together.
The reason for my post is that I want him to be happy. As much as I love him him viewing me as his whole world + stressing if I go away is not normal and I feel like it’s not healthy and is hurting him. Does anyone have experience with traumatized bunnies? Maybe getting him a young female bunny (he’s neutered) can fix this?
